Overhyped? Definitely, but still fascinating. The best part being, of course, is that it's stoneage technology, so anyone should be able to make one of these and try it out for themselves on the cheap. The worst part, it's not the most user friendly board, and probably not the best all around board (example of an alaia session not looking fun: HERE). But, who says everything has to be easy?
